Duties Include

As a Production Technician you will help assemble and test our movers (big magnets), stators (electromagnets) and other associated hardware.

  • Assembling hardware (~40% of working hours)
  • Operating and maintaining equipment used in assembly (~10%)
  • Quality Assurance on incoming components (~20%)
  • Testing finished products (~10%)
  • Packaging finished products (~15%)
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment (~5%)

Ideal Candidates Must...

  • Follow written and verbal instructions precisely
  • Ask questions
  • Have excellent manual dexterity and the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Expect high levels of quality and timeliness from their work
  • Have good written and spoken English-language communication skills

Assets That Might Set You Apart Include...

  • Experience working with fasteners, epoxies, solder, or other assembly techniques
  • A diploma or degree from a technical institute or college in a field related to mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering
  • Work experience in an assembly environment
  • Be eligible to work in Canada

More About the Job

You will be part of the production team, reporting to the production manager. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with start time at 9 am. We are located in Richmond, British Columbia; the position is not remote.
