Flyways (stators) are the muscle of every Planar Motor System. They create magnetic fields which levitate XBots in 6 degrees of freedom with their superior on-board controllers. Flyways are fully solid state with no moving parts meaning there is no maintenance required. Their modularity allows them be arranged into any conceivable layout to suit any solution.
