Who Are We Looking For?

The environment at PMI is fast-paced, collaborative, ever-changing, and supportive. We are looking for team players who bring substantial expertise and competency in their field.

Our Engineering Team is responsible for all aspects of the design, development and manufacturing of planar motors. We are looking for 10+ candidates (both at junior and senior engineer levels) who:

-Have attitudes to pursue excellence

-Are self-starters with results-driven personalities
-Have the abilities to work in a team professionally
-Are eager to learn and able to face challenges

Duties include one or more of the followings:

-Mechatronics System Design
-Electronic Hardware Development
-Prototyping

Key Responsibilities

-Responsible for electronics board design from concept to mass production in a fast-paced team.
-Electronic Hardware design specific to high-performance mixed signals and power electronics based on DFM/DFT.
-Working with vendors of components, PCB fabrication, and contract manufacturers.
-Develop and/or check and approve product lifecycle documents.
-Managing compliance and standard certification process, including CE and UL.
-Hardware validation testing with functional and performance tests.

Qualifications

-Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degrees in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering Physics, or equivalent
-Proven record of excellence in engineering
-Able to work in Canada
